A Shepherd’s Story:
Pastor N. Ashokan’s life is a powerful testimony of God’s redeeming grace. After losing his father tragically at the age of six, he was raised by his widowed mother through years of hardship and sacrifice. Though he was hardworking and determined, his early years were marked by personal struggles. Yet God used these seasons to shape his life and calling.
Sister Manjulavathi comes from an orthodox family traditionally engaged in the jewellery business. With the support of friends and family, she and Ashokan were married. After marriage, a neighbor invited her to attend house prayer meetings, where her faith in Christ began to grow. Through her journey of faith, her mother-in-law also came to know Christ, and together they began attending church.
Witnessing the sincere faith of his wife and mother, Ashokan’s heart was touched, and he soon joined them. In 1999, he established Brothers Gym, which later became a platform to mentor young people and share the Gospel.
Together, Pastor Ashokan and Sister Manjulavathi stand as a testimony of how God brings entire families into His light, turning broken beginnings into a journey of faith, service, and hope for the next generation.
